Week 3 – Absolute Value and Radicals

This week in pre-calculus 11, we learned about absolute value, radicals, and roots. This unit is probably the easiest for me because roots and radicals are fairly straight forward. Here is an example:

6\sqrt{5x^2}

In this equation you would take the 6^2 and put the 36 back into the \sqrt{5x^2} to change it to an entire radical.

\sqrt{36*5x^2}

\sqrt{180x^2}

Thanks for reading.
