How do we deal with the “destruction” of our planet?

In Dear Future Generations: Sorry, Prince Ea apologizes to all future generations for the years and years of global destruction that past generations have burdened us with. In this video, he starts out by saying he is sorry for the mess of our planet that we have created. But by the end of the video he turns it around and says he isn’t sorry. He’s not sorry, because he believes that we can change not our past, but the way we do things for the future. That we can all work together and save not only the environment, but us. We are a part of this Earth whether we like it or not and in order to have the equality we are always looking for, we need to exist. We can change what we’ve already “destroyed” if we chose not to accept it. We can choose to accept the “inevitable” Global Warming, or we can not accept it and be the change. An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it. The past does not always dictate the future outcome. This video proves that while humans can be selfish, destructive, damaging, disastrous, and pestiferous, humans also see the results in their actions and learn from their mistakes. Humans progress.
