Station 1:
1. Identify the three types of space probes, and describe the purpose of each.
Interplanetary: Probes that fly by other celestial bodies.
Orbiters: Probes that are placed in orbit of other celestial bodies.
Landers: These probes on the celestial bodies.
2. Describe three milestones in space exploration that you think are interesting (including the date, the name of the mission and/or probe/ship, and why you think it is important).
First Man on the Moon: The first landing on the moon, Apollo 11, occurred on July 20, 1969. The men who went on the trip were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
