For my 3D printing assignment, I chose to make a 3D luggage tag. I decided to choose this project as when I was introduced to Tinkercad I was not familiar with the program but I watched the videos and understood how the design element works in it. After I had a pretty good understanding of the program I looked around at the different types of projects that I could do and I found that the Luggage tag would be the most useful for me as I always misplace my stuff and it would be helpful to have.
Reflection
-One of the challenges that I encountered when developing the name tag was understanding the program as I have never used this program and it seemed unique as I’m used to programs being in 2D like Canva, however, once I had watched the video I understood how it was done and was able to create my own version.
– What are some things that worked well? Some things that worked well when I was creating this project were that the program was easy to use and I could customize the shapes and design to my liking.
-From this project, I learned how to use the program Tikercad, I have also understood how to edit and create different 3D images.
