On January 9, all our new media 10 students and some new media 11 students went to CBC together. We stayed there for about two hours. The staff there welcomed us very warmly, Michelle Eliot and Jennifer Rhyne introduced us to their work and more details about public broadcasting, and then we toured the various working departments of the CBC, such as the console and radio room, and many other functions. later we came back, I just noticed the desk they were sitting are looked like the signal of the CBC from the top-down. On this trip to CBC, I learned a lot of things that I ca n’t learn from books. For example, these journalism jobs are far less simple than I thought. They also need time and effort. We think that those staff members rarely get a response when they say hello. Maybe their work is too cumbersome or busy.
