Dear sir,

I am a young man that has been greatly affected by this depression, I have lost my home because I couldn’t pay my mortgage.  I know you are trying very hard to pull Canada out of this depression.  I think the work camp are a great idea to create jobs for everyone, but I will not do those mind-numbingly boring jobs.   I would have gone for the On to Ottawa trek but I have to look for a job to support me and my mother, I will have a better chance if there are less unemployed in BC.  I am happy that I do not have to pay for my food by going to a soup kitchen, but the first time I tried to line up for Pogey, my pride overwhelmed my desire for food and I ran away.  At least BC is not going through droughts, I feel that the prairie provinces have it many times worse than BC. What I want is for you to create more well-paying jobs so that more people can start to afford to buy stuff to make the economy stronger.  I would also like a job so I can support my family and myself, and hopefully get my house back.

Yours truly,
