Efp 12 podcast project

Our project went well. Everyone contributed to the project equally. But we ran into a problem when our file got corrupted on the day the podcast was due so our re-recording of it was a little bit rushed but it still came out well. In our podcast we discussed 3 stories Charlie, what is it about us you don’t like and story of starvation our essential question was “How do decisions, actions, and consequences vary depending on the different perspectives of the people involved?”

New Media 11 Machine stops project

The ideology’s that this poster represents are the anti-machine views that Kuno expresses throughout the novel. The main element of this poster is the big red no sing In-front of the robot. This was put here to really emphasize the hatred for the machine and how it should no longer exist. As all it does is cause harm in society and eliminates creativity and individuality in the world and it’s only goal is to make everyone fat and lazy so that it can have total control of any and everything. The second main element is the large text. I did this so that it will really capture the attention of the person that is reading the poster and hopefully try to persuade them into siding with  Kuno ideology’s towards the machine. The reason that I decided to side with Kuno. Is because their were multiple instances throughout the novel where the Machine did certain things I thought were very wrong and shouldn’t be happening to any human. Also i like Kuno because he tries to break the societal norms that were put in the place by the machine to try and make everyone the same like I stated earlier, this is good because without individuality and creativity in society.  It can become very boring which can have large negative effects on people’s mental health. I also like Kuno’s ideology’s because he isn’t content with the basic life that he’s been put in and wants to do more with his life and explore the rest of the world and try and experience new things that are outside of the ship that he’s been confined to.

By Zachary Mowat

Homework here

Homework there

There’s Homework everywhere

Studying every day, every night

With no end in sight

With all this homework

My future isn’t bright

Teachers always complaining

I can’t get it right

My bags always heavy

I can’t remember

The last time

It was light

When I don’t have homework

It is always a delight

But that has never happened

In my life

Never having time

To get my work done on time

It’s getting me up tight

If the schoolwork

 Keeps piling up

I might just

Hop on a flight

But despite all of this

I still must push through

Because if I don’t do my homework

I know my future also isn’t bright

So I must continue to fight because

In the end I know everything will be alright

And I will finally be able to celebrate

And see the daylight

And later on I will be able to put a roof

Over my head

And go to the park with my kids

To go fly a kite

Which will be

A beautiful sight

My smile will be bright

But until that day

I just gotta keep on doing my work

So eventually I can find work

And not turn into a twerp

One more year left

How much worse can it get

I don’t have anything left

All the stress

Worn on me

Like a dress

Teachers playing with my grades

Like a game of chess

Will all of this just be

One big regret

But no, I can’t make my parents upset

I must have success

Otherwise, I will be oppressed

Expectations heavier than a bench-press

And they’ll never let me forget

All this mess

But I digress.
