GCF & LCM

GCF: To work on the term GCF and to understand how to do you have to do a couple of steps before getting the finale answer of your equation that you are working on. first you have to brake every composite number you have into prime numbers. when you finish those steps and you have broke down the numbers you had, you should now look at all the numbers you are left with from when you broke down the first numbers then you should which numbers that all have in common, it could be 2,3. and one last step that should be remembered when doing GCF is that you shouldn’t add the last number.

LCM: LCM is basically the same as GCF but it has a little change in it, the similarities that it has with GCF is that you still need to brake the number you get until you get prim numbers and you cant brake it down any further.  then when you do these steps you have to figure out which numbers do the main numbers have in common. then you put all the number that they have in common together in a group. for the LCM you add the last number as well.
