  3. Hey, Ximea! I love that you took the theme of mountains to the next level. Your descriptive writing makes me visualize an actual view of the mountains, like from balcony of a mountain hotel. You not just talked about the general look of a mountain, you really extended it further. Talking about how mountains nearly tower over all things. I felt what most people feel when they look at mountains, small yet grateful because not all areas in Vancouver are like that (what I think expresses this is the line about how they are like giants and how they ‘see’ almost everything .) There wasn’t really a turning point in this sonnet due to it just praising the mountains . My personal favourite lyric was “Everywhere I look I see a mountain. Trying to have the highest peak. Snow falling on ’em like a fountain, and with the most unique physique” because I love the descriptive language and how it overall starts off the poem.
