ID project
One of our fist projects in ID is our costume creation project where we made different costumes for the upcoming Halloween. We had a total of 3 weeks to come up with and create a costume . I wanted to do one of my favourite music artists, Marshmello’s, signature helmet and it came out great. I used many different materials to create the helmet itself and burned myself many times with the hot glue gun to glue on the LEDs and mesh for the eyes. The main part of the helmet is made from a concrete forming tube wrapped with a hard paper to create a smoother look, I then cut everything out with a dremel saw and X-acto knife. Then like I said before, I hot glue the mesh, LEDs and some extra sponged on the inside to hold my head in position. To top it off, I cut a slot on the top to have a tiny speaker inside as well.
