Your digital foot print in many ways impacts your job opportunities, from the things you post to the pictures your tagged in, your footprint can either lead you to success, or doom.

-A picture of you helping at an elderly home

The first example would reflect a bad picture on you and has a higher chance to get your resume rejected. The second example shows you’re a caring person and does volunteering for the community, which increases the chances of employment.

 

Strategies to keep your digital foot print safe

There are many ways to keep your digital foot print safe, here are just 3 of them:

-Think before you post something, ask yourself: What would my grandma think if she saw that?

-Read it aloud, is it directed a someone in particular, would you say this to their face, are you emotions talking not your head.

-How does the post reflect on you, does it emphasize the good in you, or your bad side.

 

What did I learn about my digital footprint;

I don’t post a lot so its basically non existent. I would probably spread my knowledge by telling friends, then they would tell their friends and it would be a endless chain.
