This project is What the Solar System would be if the Capitol Building was the Sun and The White House was the Earth. How I got these points was simple. You take the distance from the Capitol Building straight to the White House. In this case it was 2.5 Km because it is one AU from the Sun to the Earth. AU is an Astronomical Unit which is the average distance from the sun to the moon. So I had to multiply 2,500 x (What planets AU) so that I could find the total distance from the Sun to each Planet. Ex. Mercury has an AU of .387, so 2,500 x .387 = 967.5 so we would have to measure 967 meters from the Sun which had to also be aligned with Earth.
