The documentary creators, Tre Jijian, Lenny Shpolanski, and Chelsey Whitmore set out to answer the question, “how has the pandemic influenced students at Rivserside Secondary School to learn a new instrument.” We presented our findings through our mainly interview based documentary titled, “Pandemic Pastimes.” We found members of the schools’ music department to interview and gain perspective of their learning experiences with their new instrument. The view of this documentary is seen as expository due to the unbiased narration and most of the information being based on answers in interviews. This documentary navigates through the music department to learn student’s stories.
