Your digital footprint is the information you put out on the internet. This can include the media you post, the websites you visit, text messages/emails that you send to others and just about everything you put on the internet. As long as you are responsible with your digital footprint than it doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing

What are some strategies To keep your digital footprint safe? It is important to know about the ways your digital footprint can affect you. It is important to be mature and responsible while using the internet. The easiest way to stay safe on the internet is to not post things that you wouldn’t feel comfortable with someone seeing and not to allow websites and applications to access your location when given the opportunity.

How could your digital footprint effect your future?

It is important not to post things that aren’t workplace appropriate because the majority of schools and jobs research people they are considering employing or accepting into their school. Doing things on the internet may embarrass you in the future as well so don’t post things you might not be proud of in the future

What information did you learn that you would pass on to others?

I would tell others that it is really hard to not keep a digital footprint but as long as you are responsible than it isn’t necessarily an issue. I would probably tell people that they should obviously stay safe and stay responsible with the internet.
