Capital Punishment Canada

(This picture shows how people died by capital punishment.)

The death penalty was made when people started to follow the discipline, whoever did not follow them were punished to death. The death penalty serves punishment, by exterminating the person’s life activities. There were some people who agreed to this punishment since it started. However, there were people who opposed to this idea, because the death penalty cannot be recovered once it is executed and it does not have any assurance to prevent of the 100% crime. Death penalty began 1859 in Canada. The last death penalty was carried in 1962, approximately 710 people were execute in the meantime. It was finally abolished in 1976.

The death penalty is a cruel case. There is no merit on the side who execute it or the side to be executed. This story was written in around 1980, at that time in Canada there was no such thing like death penalty, thus I do not believe that Thomas Delaney would die the way he did in this story. He may have been punished by other ways than the death penalty, but he would never be dead because of it.

He may not necessarily have to be sentenced to the capital punishment, but when I think about his actions, I agree that he ought have been sentenced to death for the following reasons. Firstly, he killed an innocent person. Secondly, he broke the disciplines that people made. Thirdly, he got intensely mad when he tried to protect his wife, that he lost his control, and killed a man. I believe that such a human being is dangerous for a peaceful society.
