We just arrived in Berlin Germany in the middle of the day we get off our plane walking into Berlins airport is like walking into a beehive its filled with people. The Second I stepped off that plane I could smell the intense aroma of jet fuel it was a weird smell a very different smell. The Sounds of the Jets and the Airliners Soared into my ears like darts. They were loud and very annoying to hear fly by every minute. Me and my mom sat down near restaurant to wait for my father and little brother to get back from the washrooms just sitting there on the bench you can smell all the different foods the schnitzel frying on the pan and the classic beer being poured into the mugs of beefy looking German men. Just walking through this terminal is just chaotic people are scrambling to get to their flight on time they are knocking down people with ought realizing them. Once we stepped out of the Airport you can already smell the difference in the air its much fresher that the one back in Vancouver. My Father quickly runs to go pick up our rental car while me and my mom pick up our bags my bag on the other hand I weight exactly 30 Kilograms it felt like I had needles pushing into the palm of my hand as I tried to lift my red but I couldn’t so I had to drag it across the airport while people are looking and me like I’m stupid but then my Father comes back helps me with it and we both Car into the rental car. Going down the highway it was smooth just like butter no one would dare to cut you off and to make things different you can use your horn in Germany or Poland so the highways are filled with the roaring sounds of diesel trucks and high end sports cars the Porsches sound like roaring lions in the safari driving down the highway with no speed limit. We cross the border You can already tell the difference between Poland and Germany. Poland is Filled with Green Forests and Germany is Filled with long Plains of farmland that are being harvested for the wheat by Combines. We arrive in my Grandmas house and I look into the dark dusty driveway and she is not home the car is out of the house we open the gate and we drive in we wait we wait we had to wait about half an hour till she arrived from the store with pasctecziki which is polish fried meat. She drives into driveway with Grandpa with full excitement she runs at us and gives us all hugs. She hugged us so hard that she almost squeezed to poop out of us. She led us into her home one step and it smelled and looked like a traditional Polish Home full with things decorated in flowers and smells like fresh pierogi from the pot. My Uncle on our first day of arrival storms into the house like a big polish Horse and greets us with a big smile and his arms spread out wide he gives me a hug his clothes are all torn from work and they feel like an old carpet in the dump and he also smells like the freshener used for air conditioning. This is like a family reunion my mom is bawling like a small child and I could tell these were tears of joy and happiness my brother is also jumping in joy because of there in front of him was his favorite uncle. This was just part of the amazing family vacation which I had this was one of the best times we have travelled to Poland.
