In the short story Gold Mounted Guns, there are certain events that are significant to the story and overall plot line. In the short film created, we chose scenes which were evident to the understanding of the story. We used the scene with the lock falling and robbing the money since the overall plot line of the story revolved around Will Arblaster stealing the money from an innocent man. Another scene we included which was relevant, was returning the money into the house. This scene was after the sheriff made Will Arblaster wait and understand the damage he had down to the man. I think the both of us learned from this process and the theme of the story, to not try and be somebody you’re not. You should never try and impress someone by doing something that would not represent yourself. Especially something like stealing. This story allows you to realize the effects of harming someone and the toll it can take on them.
