Mutation Story: Sickle Cell Anemia

Part 1:

I was born inside this body, now I control the production in red cells called hemoglobin but, I control it in only one gene. I can turn these cells from a round red blood cell into a sickle-like blood cell. The host, I am inside was born with two sets of genes (one from each parent), but one pair of genes contained the sickle cell disease. That was how I got transfered into this body.

Part 2:

1. The questions, I needed to research for this assignment was the exact same questions that were on the criteria sheet.
2. The digitals tools that I used were, a keyboard, and the “number point form”, that is on the top of the editing box.
3. The procces that I did in order to complete this assignment was, simply open “google”, went in my edublog and opened a new tab for the information that followed.
4. To investigate this assignment I used “google chrome”, to find information and “google images”, to see how my mutation looks like.
5. I think if I had understanded it better I could make it better and extend the story.
