Float Your Boat Challenge

Science 10 Block: A

Problem: Our Boat didn’t Have enough support on the sides and it sunk faster.

Hypothesis: The boat will float and hold the greatest number of pennies.

Observations:

Conclusion: Our boat held a whopping number of 43 pennies.

Our original thinking and reasoning behind was by putting the marshmallows on the bottom of the boat so it can float and folded the sides of the aluminum foil to create better buoyancy.

If we were to re-design our boat and complete the challenge again, we would put the marshmallows more to the side of the boat so it could float better and carry more weight.
