A Fresh Look at the Periodic Table

New Periodic Table

Define/Discover:

We need to make a new periodic table with elements in different places than an original periodic table.

Questions:

  • Why is some elements in different places outside of the body of the table?
  • Could we categorize it in a different way? Is so how?
  • Why don’t they put in alphabetical order?
  • Why can you make it in a circle?
  • What different shapes can you make the periodic table?
  • Why isn’t it classified by density?
  • Could you flip the periodic table on its side?

Dream:

Make it in a hexagon

Different sections to have all the elements

Make a place to put the many metals

Colour code it

Make it an oval

My Digital Footprint

1. Might your How digital footprint affect your future opportunities? (Give at least two examples.)

“Almost one-third of all universities will search your name up up.”(Mr. Barazuol) If you have a positive footprint you will more likely be chosen over somebody else with a negative or no digital footprint for the job or a school you applied for if you have a positive digital footprint that has good work shown.

2. Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.

Don’t post everything that happens in your life on social media you could end up posting something that could hurt your job interview, on social media don’t use your real name as your username because if you do post something more personal it might not look good to the interviewer, post your school work on your edublog it will look better to a university if you show your work.

Instagram

3. What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?

I would tell them to post as much work as possible even if it is not school related as it might help you out in the long run trying to get a job or get accepted to a university. I would also tell them to  not post any personal information edublog is a school related website not instagram or snapchat.
