My Digital Footprint

1. Might your How digital footprint affect your future opportunities? (Give at least two examples.)

“Almost one-third of all universities will search your name up up.”(Mr. Barazuol) If you have a positive footprint you will more likely be chosen over somebody else with a negative or no digital footprint for the job or a school you applied for if you have a positive digital footprint that has good work shown.

2. Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate and safe.

Don’t post everything that happens in your life on social media you could end up posting something that could hurt your job interview, on social media don’t use your real name as your username because if you do post something more personal it might not look good to the interviewer, post your school work on your edublog it will look better to a university if you show your work.

Instagram

3. What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?

I would tell them to post as much work as possible even if it is not school related as it might help you out in the long run trying to get a job or get accepted to a university. I would also tell them to  not post any personal information edublog is a school related website not instagram or snapchat.
