I acknowledge that we on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem First Nation) which lies in the shared territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Katzie, Musqueam, Qayqayt, Squamish, and Sto: lo nations.

I respect and love the place where I have lived, worked, and played on for as long as I remember by helping my dad cultivate a garden in our backyard. The aboriginal idea that place is experiential and that experiences a person has on the land give it meaning really resonates with me and my many experiences on the land.

  I wish to take more steps to get closer to reconciliation with the Aboriginal people of this land by acknowledging and learning about indigenous culture through EFP 11 and further research and their history in Canada. All My Relations.
