Digital Footprint

How might your digital footprint affect your future opportunities? Give at least two examples.

if you have a bad digital footprint it can affect your social and academic life in many ways. One of those ways is decreasing your chances of getting a job or getting into college lower. your digital footprint can also change the way friends, family, teachers and classmates see you and make you a target for cyberbullying and normal bullying it can also sometimes get you in trouble with your parent or the law.

Describe at least three strategies that you can use to keep your digital footprint appropriate.

  1. limit how much you share on social media even if you put your account on private

2. google yourself to see

3. still use a privacy setting

What information did you learn that you would pass on to other students? How would you go about telling them?

Something I learned that I would pass on to other students is to limit what you post and think about how a friend or family would react to it, as it can negatively affect your life.  I would share this information with other students by showing them examples of how their digital footprint can affect the life
