Humans need to communicate

Humans want to be able to express their emotions, whether that is happiness, joy, sadness, frustration etc.

The novel Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is about violence and poverty and how the government chose to control and dictate their citizens. The government would select 2 candidates from each of the 12 districts to fight to their death. The one survivor would receive financial support for the rest of their life. This novel was an extreme exaggeration of our world and how humans choose violence when life throws bad things at us. This book is very relevant now because often, leaders take advantage of their power and risk the quality of life for many people. Katniss Everdeen volunteered for her sister when she was chosen which shows how although humans can hate, they can still love more and sometimes, sacrifices have to be made to protect the ones we love.
