Going into this project my group was very organized, we had our assigned mandalas and were working together sharing ideas but doing our own work. As we got deeper into the project we found ourselves passing around the mandalas working on all of them together. We each contributed at least one design into each mandala. And if we found one person was better at one technique than the other person, they were able to complete that section of the mandala. Our final product turned out more as a collaborative group project then a bunch of individual mandalas put together. Overall i’m very happy with how our final product turned out, I think we were very successful in working collaboratively.
Communication Questions:
- I was an active listener throughout this project. I feel like I took others ideas and opinions into consideration quite well. I tried to include their ideas or use them to lead me to another idea. I feel like I was pretty good at encouraging other group members. I often let them know if I liked what they were doing or I liked how a design came out.
- I was able to disagree with others suggestions and be confident with my decisions, and I think that my group members respected those decisions. I was able to talk about my opinions and suggestions as well. I felt very comfortable sharing my thoughts and ideas and was also told by my group members if they thought I was doing a good job on something.
- As a group ideas were constantly being tossed around and shared. We gave each other feedback, whether it was to make something darker or outline this or lighten this up, we were constantly discussing and I feel like that was a major part of how we were so successful.
