Indigenous Podcast – “Disappearance”

For this project we started with finding an indigenous woman that has not been the topic of someone else’s podcast. Eventually, we found Linda May Scott and we started researching her story and finding out as much as we can about her disappearance and possible murder. Then, we put all the raw information into three sections. After we had all the raw information we put the most important parts into bullet points in the format of a script. After finishing the script we did the podcast cover and started putting everything into a blog post draft. When everything else was ready, we recorded the podcast and edited it in Audacity. After that, we double checked that we had everything done and put the podcast audio into the blog post and posted it. During the making of this project not only did we learn about missing and murdered indigenous women, we learned many different things such as: how to use Audacity, how to format and record a proper podcast, and how to make a podcast cover.
