Rae and I made this documentary, 2022, about common themes within today’s society and the novel 1984 written by George Orwell. This documentary is made in the participatory and expository filming styles. We used the participatory filming style by having both Rae and I in some shape or form in the documentary. We used the expository style when Rae was narrating because she was never visually in the documentary. We worked hard making sure our project was done on time by always staying focused and working hard during our given time. In my opinion, finding an actual app to edit with was harder than the actual editing. I personally enjoy looking for B roll, it was fun walking around the school searching for things to add into our video and trying to figure out where they would work best. Overall I don’t know if I would want to ever make another documentary but if I ever need to for any future purposes I know how to.
