In this lab we put dot’s on a balloon and blew up the balloon and saw how the dot’s got further and further apart. The balloon represented the expanding universe and the dot’s represent the different galaxies moving away from each other. This happened because of the Big Bang explosion. During the lab the letter that moved furthest away was E. The one that moved the least was A. The more the balloon expands the more the galaxies expand. This relates to what is happening to our universe by, when the Big Bang happened the universe started expanding. When we blew up the balloon the galaxies started moving further apart. This does not relate to the ig bang explosion because the galexies would not be moving perfecttly away from each other, they would be moving in different directions.
