It was past midnight, and I still haven’t found my way out of this dark forest. There were tall trees covering my sight, making my fear even more intense. I hear lightening from the thunderstorms, rain pouring onto the surface, and sounds of crows crying. Feeling vulnerable, I ran through the rain until I found a cave which looked old and cracked, probably due to the lightening. Unlike the forest, the cave was quiet, but I heard small howls; or maybe it was terror taking over me. It got colder as twilight deepened, giving me chills throughout my body. I was alone in this gloomy place; feeling isolated from the world. Curiosity made me want to explore deeper into the cave, but uncertainty stopped me. So I stayed at the entrance; slowly falling asleep, waiting for the sun to rise.
