Strengths and Weaknesses Content Paragraph

Over the units Atomic Theory, Bonding and The Mole, I have distinguished strengths and weaknesses in each unit. Atomic Theory was our first unit, I found that I had a strength in memorizing and writing electron configurations. A weakness that I had in this unit was memorizing the average atomic mass formula. This may have been a weakness because I may have not gotten much practice with using the formula. My strengths in the second unit, Bonding, was remembering vocabulary and their definitions. My weakness in this unit would be drawing VSEPR shapes for some compounds. In the third unit, the mole, my strengths included applying the knowledge within the unit to do more difficult questions. My weaknesses were forgetting certain vocabulary meanings from past units that came up in questions.

Goal Reflection

My midterm goal was to try new strategies occasionally and continue to use it throughout the years. I accomplished this goal by the end of the semester by trying more than one strategy when solving problems, an example is when I used both of two methods that were taught in solving dilution problems. However, as my goal was also to continue learning and using new strategies throughout the years. I plan to work towards this goal by being open minded and not limiting the idea of using multiple methods to solve problems in only chemistry, but also other subjects as in school as well. This way I can continue to make my goal more obtainable.
