My Graduation Plan

1. Healthy Living
a. This year, I am running daily, playing school and competitive curling, and playing school rugby.
b. Next year, I will run daily, go to the gym 3 times a week, curling 5+ days a week, and play school rugby. to meet DPA requirements.
c. Other than physical activity, I will also need a concrete plan for nutrition and stress management in order to lead a healthy life after graduation.

2. Course Credits
a. I need 80 credits to graduate. A typical course is worth 4 credits.
i. 48 of them must be from required courses.
ii. 28 of them must be from electives.
iii. 16 of them must be from Grade 12 courses.
b. At the end of this year, I will have 36 credits.

3. Community Connections
a. I need 30 hours of work/volunteer experience. To show I completed this, I must show proof in the form of a pay sub or reference letter
b. I can start accumulating these hours in Grade 10
c. My plan to earn work/volunteer hours is through get a reference letter from my work to prove the number hours I have worked
d. I will also need to complete a reflection that includes what I did, employability skills and how it benefited me. It will be 200 typed words minimum.

4. Career and Life
a. In addition to updating my resume, I will also create a financial plan and I will also create a post secondary plan to show that I have a plan in place after graduation.
b. When I graduate, my current plan is to go to university
5. Interview
a. To prepare for the interview, I can look at the questions ahead of time. They are found on the grad transition website.
b. My interview will be with a staff member
6. The 3 people at Riverside who are here to help with this process are:
a. Mr. Thomson
b. My consular
c. Ms.chapell

In Grade 12, I will find all the necessary documents AND submit them to the website.
I will complete Grad Transitions 12 whenever I have to compete English 12. If I have it in 1st semester, I must complete everything except the interview before Winter Ball. In 2nd semester, everything except the interview must be completed before the end of April.
