Foods 12 November/December Reflection
I chose to reflect on the cheese soufflé because it was one of my favourite recipes we’ve made so far and it turned out really well and tasted good. This lab was very complex because there were many different steps and techniques we had to do but it was still fun to make. I enjoyed this lab because we had to be very precise with the directions given like when we had to temper the egg yolks and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. This requires different techniques which I like. Our cheese soufflé turned out the way we had hoped it would. It was light and fluffy and it was delicious. We read the instructions carefully and made sure we measured and did everything right which is what I think helped this lab to be successful. Our group worked very well together as we all helped each other when we needed help and everyone had contributed. There were no issues that came up. I would love to make different kinds of soufflés because they were very fun to make.
