volunteering
Volunteers like you are our most important assets. We would not be able to run our facility to the high standard we do without your generous help.
Since the animals in our care are our number one concern, we do what we can to ensure that all of our volunteer efforts go to directly caring for the dogs, rather than being tied up with tasks such as answering email or the phone.
Because of this, we limit the time period during which we accept new volunteers, in order to reduce adminstrative tasks.
If you are under the age of 18, you will need to have a parent or guardian attend all volunteer training and volunteer sessions with you.
If you would prefer not to walk a dog, you can still enjoy and care for them. You can play with them, give the fluffy ones a good brushing, trim their nails, or bathe them. We occasionally have puppies that need people to hang out and play with so that they can be socialized.

PT Animal Care Expert
the volunteer work that I searched for is an animal shelter that works with animals but anyone that works there is required to be 18 years old unless your parent or guardian goes with you or signs a paper that you are experienced with animals and are a good pick for this volunteer job. you can do things as simple as, walk the dogs, trim their hairs, or just hangout or socialize with them.
the way that it could benefit my future would be that if in the future, I want to find a job that is related to working with animals like a vet assistant, they could know about the volunteer job that I did before looking for that job, and I would definitely have a better chance of getting that job since there would be proof of me having experience with working with animals.
why i’m passionate about working with animals is because my dad used to work at pet stores and places that work with animals, and i sometimes went with him when i was little and always were passionate about working wit animals but also helping them because i think that they deserve it so much and i just love animals.
the employment opportunity wouldn’t benefit my future a whole lot to be honest, but I think that I would have to start off from somewhere to get to the top so when I want to get a better job than this one in the future that pays better, I could have a lot more experience since ive done the volunteering and the employment job.
it doesn’t say a whole bunch on what you need to do to get this job in details but, some of the skills it says that you need are that you need to be outgoing (with animals and coworkers), ready to engage with any kind of customer, ready and wanting to always learn new stuff, being able to work independently etc.
it doesn’t have details about what you need to do to get this job but you need to have the skills that I just said above, you need to be over 18 etc.
