DEFINE:
The main problem we were trying to solve was to decrease the pollution in the ocean from all the trash and garbage. Pollution can also lead to many difficulties, such as death, in ocean life along with the sea animals and plants.
To solve this, we have created a boat where many mini-submarines will go underwater to collect any garbage and trash from beneath the sunlight zone in the ocean. After the garbage has been collected from the mini-submarines, they will go back into the boat and the workers will sort out the trash so it can be recycled correctly.
In the front of the boat, we have a large container in the middle with a conveyor belt to bring in the garbage nearby, in the sunlight zone, by sucking garbage from the ocean and on the conveyor belt. Workers will also be present during this process as small sea animals might get stuck in between the process, so workers will watch carefully as this is at work.
DISCOVER:
In the past, the solution to solving the ocean waste problem was to collect garbage around the beach and areas around it so the waste would not flow into the ocean.
Today, The Ocean Cleanup is developing many cleanup systems that can clean up any waste floating within the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
How do the patches work? The patches collect garbage that are floating in the sea and with its circulating currents, the plastic will be caught in the retention zone of the cleanup system. And when it is full, a boat will come and extract the garbage from the patch to sort out when the boat is back on land.
Other inventions that have been invented not long ago was the Seabin.

DEBRIEF:
To reflect back on our process, I think we did a good job on building what we both were thinking into Minecraft and expressing our concerns of ocean life and how to save it from pollution and plastic.
What I think I can improve on is to express and talk more in the video and explain more about the boat and how helpful it is in desperate situations.
Overall, I believe my partner and I did a pretty good job on this assignment but a few tweaks could have been improved.
