Science App Review Elements: The Periodic Table
Define: The problem that I want to solve is to find a periodic table that I can use where it has all the information of that certain element in one place. And also to check if I am understanding how to draw a Bohr diagram correctly.
Dream/Deliver: If I could make a app, I would have the polyatomic ions on one part of the periodic table and then have the actual periodic table on the other side. I would have videos on how to create Bohr diagrams of atoms and ions on the video section of my app. I would want to have more than a hundred themes in my settings. I would also have videos on what covalent and ionic compounds are and the difference. I would even have study tips and important notes together on different lessons or sections.
- This app helps students learn more about the periodic table in an easier way. This is a very good app to memorize since it’s colour coded. You can even use this app because you may lose a paper copy of the periodic table but this would always be on you device. This app has so many information about all the elements. This can also help with people who are having a hard time drawing Bohr diagrams of an atom because it shows what it should look like.
Colour Coded 
Bohr Diagrams - This is a very self explanatory app. It doesn’t need too much thinking and really all you need do to click on the element an it will have the information on that specific element. Another great thing about this app is that it is free. I would really recommend this app to people who are learning about chemistry.
Periodic table with legend - This app includes many cool things about that element such as the period, family, the colour, the elements physical properties, a diagram of the atom structure, general properties, atomic properties and even tells you the material this element is used in. This really helps because now you don’t have to search everywhere trying to find out what it looks like since it has a picture. It is very helpful because all the information of that element is now, all in one place. This app also allows you to change the theme which also makes it fun. And one of the best tools is that it provides is that it has a compare function where you can compare two elements at the same time without having to go back and forth.
