Ryan Raposo reflection

The food our group prepared were smiley churro bites we put chocolate chips in the dough and I enjoyed making this lab very much because it was something new that I never knew how to make.
I think the three of us were happy making this creation since it is something that we all love and was something we were all interested in making and was very happy we made since I thought it would be a very good idea to make.
The reason we chose the recipe because it was in our time derestriction and was something that looked so yummy to make.
If we were to do this differently I would definitely shape the churros before we dropped them in the hot oil when making the long churro did not work we decided to make it into fun bite sized deserts
It did not effect us at all because overall time to make the whole lab was 20 minutes or so
Something I learnt is to make churros with long sleeves so you don’t get hot oil burn your hand

Chicken prep
Why I chose this lab was because it was defintly something I have never done before and was something that I was quite nervous doing and was glad I chose to do the wing as my cut because it was very fun in the end
I enjoyed this lab lots because it was brand new to me and I think it worked out in the end for me

Yes it turned out how I wanted it to go being my first time cutting the chicken I clipped a little bit of the breast but other then that I think it turned out very well

I think yes it worked out well for our group since it was all something we have never done before
If I was to do this lab again maybe I would switch up the roles and try cutting a different piece of the chicken and after learn how to barbeque it

Another lab we have done that id like to reflect on is the pho we made
I chose to reflect on this because it was my first time making pho and actually knowing how its made
At first I did not enjoy this lab because I thought it looked really gross but after it started looking actually like pho and I got really exited because it looked really good so in the end I really liked it
I thought yes the pho turned out really good because it tasted really good and looked good
I think my group worked really well together since most of the time it was just cooking on the stove
I don’t think I would change this lab at all I thought it was a great learning experience and something new from a new culture that some students have never tried before and it was just a very fun lab to do!
