To Kill a Mockingbird:
I would absolutely recommend this book. I really enjoyed the unique perspective on racism. I feel like this book took racism and made it so clear and easy to understand, that there wouldn’t be any way to miss the message. I think for some people who are discriminatory, this book would force them to reflect on themselves, and that’s why I really liked it. I also enjoyed the ending, I feel like it gave the whole story a realistic feel to really emforce it’s message, and the consequences of racism. I think that if the ending had been differentm it would have been a less powerful story. And I feel like it was eye-opening to have it from Scout’s point of view. I think that to see racism from the eyes of a child is so powerful. To most people, children are precious, even over beliefs, and to see this child’s reactions and experiences with racism is so much stronger than if it was from an adult. I think this book can change how people see the world, and it absolutely needs to be read.
