Week 15- Slope of a line segment

In mathematics, the term slope is used to describe the measure of the steepness of the line segment. It is the ratio of the rise (change in vertical height between endpoints) over run (change in horizontal length between the endpoints) = \frac{rise}{run} … The rise is positive if we count up, negative if we count down, whereas the run is positive if we count right, negative if we count left. Example of this process follows;
