They both give to others, but the tree is giving to one person but the seven pounds is giving to seven persons. They all selfless, but the tree is giving to the boy because he thinks they are good friends but the Seven pounds giving because he wants to make up for the mistakes he made before. They both don’t need to return, but the tree is voluntary but the Seven pounds is make up for the loss. They both like helping others. They want to make the world a better place.
