Fire
In case of a fire on a stove make sure to put a lid on top of the stove instead of water or a fire Extinguishers
since the contents can be more flammable then you think.
When microwaving make sure no metal or aluminum go inside these materials and cause a fire in YOUR MICROWAVE.
Burns/Scalds
When ever you get a small burn always use cold water to ease out the pain run your hands for about 20 minutes.
When checking food with a lid always make sure to cover the steam so that you do not get a full face of hot steam in your face.
Chemicals
Make sure all these chemicals are stored in there correct location and away from foods.
Always check labels when working with any type of chemical as this can lead to sickness or death if falls into food.
Slips/Trips/Falls
Make sure to wipe all spills and move anything to a proper location to avoid any trips or slips.
when ever you are moping the floor or the floor really wet always put a caution wet floor sign to avoid people from slipping.
Cuts
When you cut your finger with a knife put a band aid on the cut and a glove on your hand.
Never put a knife in the sink cause if you have lots of dishes and you reach in most likely you will touch the knife and cut your whole finger off.
Heavy Lifting
When Trying to lift heavy boxes always lift with your knees and not your back.
If the object is to heavy never try to lift on your own seek for help.
How to Prevent Food Poisoning
When cooking chicken make sure that the chicken has no pink or red to avoid getting salmonella.
Always wash your hands before preparing any meal and always use soap and water to kill bacteria.
Waste Management
Always put egg shells into the compost bin not the garbage.
All food scraps should go into the compost whether it’s the core of an apple or left over food you didn’t finish.
Personal Hygiene
To Avoid long hair getting into foods always wear a hair net or tie hair back
Always Wash hands before cooking any meal use hot water and soap.
