In the poem if someone is telling there son how to grow up and is you give up on something you won’t be able to experience new things, and if trying something new is how you grow up like how you build your personality like if you never tried playing a sport and you played it and you instantly like it then yeah meaning gorwing up is worth it the only thing you may giveup would be relasionships if you don’t like them anymore or not ready something like that. | In the poem someone is teaching there soon how to grow up and if they don’t they went be ready on what happens |
