Math 10 – Week 8

Something I learned in math tis week was how to find the difference of squares. The difference of squares is a binomial only containing terms that are perfect squares with the second of the two terms being negative. All difference of squares can be factored into (a^2 + b^2)(a^2 - b^2).

Ex. 9x^2 - 49 = (3x + 7)(3x - 7)
