SMART Goal Reflection
My goal was to shower for a maximum of three minutes a day.
Yes, I achieved my goal. It was extremely hard to do this goal because I love taking long hot showers. I usually shower for about ten minutes but I had to shorten to three minutes. It was not easy but I still managed to make three minutes every time I showered.
The most challenging part of this goal was not shampooing and conditioning on time. There would be like ten second left and I still have soap all over my hair. I would always have to rush every shower just to make it on time.
If I ever do this challenge again I would probably change it to cold water. I feel like showering in cold water would be a little easier because the water would be so cold and that would make me want to leave the shower a lot faster then showering in hot water. Showering in cold water is also a lot healthier for you because I’ve heard that it relieves depression and speeds up muscle pain.
Maybe somewhere in the future I would probably do this goal again, but I’m not planning on doing this anymore anytime soon. When I’m in the shower I like to take my time and just relax, but when I only have three minutes it’s very stressful because you don’t want to go over the time limit. I’m very satisfied on where I’m because I love taking how long showers, I know that I’m wasting water but it’s just really relaxing.
