What are some things that were challenging?
I found it challenging to get a hang of using photoshop since I haven’t been using it for about two years. While following the video some things on my adobe were different and I thought something was wrong. After playing around with it I figured it out and I was happy with my result. It was also challenging to simply download the software onto my computer, but once I got it I am now comfortable with assisting other people.
What are some things that worked well?
Once I figured out all of the tools, using them was very easy. I enjoyed using them and I think the way my background and my costume look together turned out great! I was having some trouble finding the crop tool and I was worried it wouldn’t work as well because my background wasn’t a green screen it was a wall, however, it selected smoothly and everything cropped out perfectly.
What did you learn? How can you apply this?
I learned how to download and use basic photoshop skills. I can apply this while helping out at the wave because if someone is using this software and is having trouble, I am no capable of providing them help and information. By having to face challenges myself while working on this project it can allow me to assist better because if someone is having the same difficulties as me, I can easily help them.
