House Response

In the story “House” by Jane rule, Harry would like to have a wonderful life with his wife and kids. His wife Anna and the kids are really excited about buying a boat. With some convincing from Harry they realize that they can’t have both. When Harry convinces Anna that buying house instead of buying a boat would be the better option he thinks that when he purchases the house his life will be perfect for Him, his kids and his wife Anna. I don’t think that buying a house is the best decision for Harry and his family because he can’t afford the mortgage and bills. After he comes home one day he walks in on Anna and his kids breaking a wall down. The family starts to think about what else they can bring down, getting back there old, unconventional life. Harry’s epiphany was a wake up of what his life should be.
