Science Cellfy Project

A while ago Mr. Horton gave my class and I a lab where we got to view our own cells through a microscope. So what we did was we took a toothpick and rubbed it against the inside of our cheek to obtain the cells. Next we put them on a slip where we dropped some drops of a dark blue liquid so we could see the cells easier. Finally we observed them through the microscope.

That is one of my cheek cells through 400x magnification. This was so cool because you can see the nucleus and the cell membrane with that lens. Thanks for reading!
