I enjoyed this chili cook-off because, it was very different then what we have ever done before in this class.  We took more than one day to prepare and I thought that, that part of this lab was fun.  I felt like I was a part of a cooking competition.  Being the competitive person I am I enjoyed that.

During this chili cook-off our team collaborated and work well together.  Things we could’ve improved on was time management.  While making the cheese braid we didn’t use time management very well, we put our cheese braid in the oven last minute and almost didn’t have it done in time for the judges.  But, in the end we manage to get everything done in time.

Our product turned out very well.  Our chili was savoury at first and then the spice kicked in.  Nothing went wrong while cooking the chili and the recipe was very easy to follow.  The cheese braid was cooked  and tasted very delicious as well.  There’s nothing I would change about the ingredients.  Overall I’d say my group was very successful. Finally, I wish that we would do more cook-offs like this one.
