Foods & Nutrition 10 Lab Reflection
The lab I choose to reflect on is the scones lab. I choose this lab because it was different then anything I have made at home and in this lab there were some techniques I have never used or even heard of before. Another reason why I picked to reflect on this lab is because I have never had a scone before.
I did enjoy this lab. I enjoyed this lab because during this lab our group worked really well together and the product in the end was delicious and we were done on time. This lab was a bit different for me because I learned how to cut the butter into the other mixture which I have never known/done before. I also learned how gluten works in this lab. The product turned out the way we all had hoped and the reason it did was because we worked efficiently and we worked together as one.
There were no issues that came up during this lab, we all got along and we always enjoy working together. In the end I don’t think we would do anything differently except for change the ingredients a little; we would put in dried cranberries instead of raisins. Also next time I think I would prefer to make the savoury scones instead. Overall this lab went really well and my group worked very well together.
