May Lab Reflection

California Rolls

I chose to reflect on the California rollls lab because it was my favourite, and I think the product turned out very good.  I enjoyed this lab because, I have never made sushi before.  I thought it was a cool experience because sushi is part of a different culture and that gave me a chance to kind of see how its made.  I also enjoyed this lab because of the technique.  Rolling sushi is much different than I would have though it would be.  I did not expect it to be as hard as it was.

My product turned out very well I thought.  I think it turned out so well because I understood the instructions and was more interested in this lab than for example the lasagna roll ups.

During this lab my group worked very well together and only had a few little corrections but nothing major that would change the outcome of the product.  If I were to do this lab again I would try cucumber rolls and maybe something a little more complex.  I don’t think I would change any thing about the california rolls except for maybe making the crab look more appetizing and fresh.  Overall I would say it was a success.
