This week I accomplished the entire bottoms of the project and finished the lid this Monday. I started with a flat box as the base and then added more clay to make the one side look like books stacked together. On the other side, I tried to make it look like the paper side of the book. On the side, I found it difficult to make a spout for the teapot so I improvise and create a lip on the side so the liquid can pour out. On the other side, I created a simple thick handle.

On the top I created a flat lid with an open book on top, and to make sure the lid fits well and stays on the teapot without just balancing, I made a lip that fits into the bottom.
